I am a Software Engineer and a Content Creator. You have probably stumbled across this website because you’ve watched one or more of my videos at Engineering with Utsav. My goal with the channel and related resources like this website, is to help software engineers excel in their careers.

  • I only make YouTube videos part-time. I work full-time at Microsoft, building the next generation of IoT for Azure.

  • I have about two decades of experience in the software engineering industry. My first paid software development job was back in 2003, when I was still in high school.

  • I have interviewed 100s of software engineering candidates during my career both a regular interviewer and as a hiring manager.

  • I have founded multiple tech startups.

  • I love working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.

  • I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal but have been living in the US for over 2 decades now.

  • I am quite passionate about (fast) cars, movement watches, music and Manchester United.

  • I play the guitar once in a while, which I occasionally post on Instagram.

  • I have a 11-year-old German Shepherd who is as rambunctious as when he was 8 weeks old.
